I am a partner in the Corporate & Securities Practice Group at the law firm Hodgson Russ LLP (www.hodgsonruss.com). My practice focuses on the areas of corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, international commercial transactions, and corporate finance. I provide legal advice to a variety of companies and devote a portion of my practice to e-commerce and technology issues. I frequently represent clients in international transactions.
I’m proud to be an active member of the Western New York community. In addition to serving as the chair of the Canisius College Women's Business Center board of directors, I am a member of the boards of directors of the Elmwood Village Association and World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara. I also serve as president of the Buffalo Wellesley Club.
About My Firm
Established in Buffalo in 1817, Hodgson Russ provides business-focused legal counsel to market-leading and emerging enterprises, not only in New York and Ontario, but across the world. We serve the U.S. legal needs of many public and private businesses — ranging from visionary entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies — as well as governmental entities, nonprofit institutions, and individuals.
In addition to providing general corporate legal services for the formation of businesses, their ownership and management structures, and their ongoing operations, we assist businesses in expansion, cross-border transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Our attorneys also provide ongoing compliance and regulatory advice in areas such as taxation, antitrust, labor and employment, health law, intellectual property, immigration, and real estate. And with a large team of skilled business litigation attorneys, we are well equipped to identify potential disputes or claims in advance and resolve them with minimal disruption to clients’ ongoing businesses.
